This is the under-construction, official headquarters for the Chicago-based artist collective The Tetrad Initiative. The Tetrad Initiative, as noted in the top banner, is consistent of four members, alphabetically being- Carlos Enriquez, Barbara Little, David Mitchell, and Benn Tianen. The Tetrad Initiative have no unified political or religious goal, and we are not unified for the purpose of advocating a clear "message". We are a group of like-minded artists and scholars with common interests in the humanities at large, including, but not limited to, history, philosophy, visual arts, language, and religion. We all specialize in separate fields- Film, Fashion, Illustration, and Philosophy, respectively- but work together to strengthen each others' practices. The first project in which we we unofficially working together was the Carlos Enriquez short film Black Horizion; our first official project together as the Tetrad Initiative was another short film, Invasion Radio, based on a character by David Mitchell, previously developed through photo-manipulation, and a art-object journal written in the character's hand. Many future projects are yet being planned.
This blog's primary purpose will serve as a news hub for the Tetrad Initiative, it's updates chronicling progress of current projects and plans for future projects. The blog will additionally serve as an outlet so that we may show our support for other artists; periodically we as a group or individuals of our group may post links, lists, reviews, short essays, articles, and so forth regarding our subjects of interest.
Spread the word of the Tetrad Initiative! Return often, there will be updates at least once weekly, but more often than that in most cases.
